Magene Joins XDS Astana Team as Official WorldTour Partner

We’re proud to share a major milestone for the global Magene brand — and one that we at Magene Philippines are especially excited about.

Magene has officially partnered with XDS Astana Team, becoming an Official Partner of the UCI WorldTour team for the 2026 season. This marks Magene’s entry into the highest level of professional road cycling — a huge step forward for smart cycling technology worldwide.

As the official distributor of Magene in the Philippines, this partnership is something we celebrate with pride, knowing that the same technology Filipino riders trust is now being tested and proven on the world’s biggest racing stage.

A WorldTour Partnership Built on Performance

Under this partnership, Magene will support XDS Astana Team across four core smart cycling categories:

  • GPS bike computers
  • Smart trainers
  • Radar tail lights
  • Heart rate monitors

Magene will provide not only professional-grade equipment but also ongoing technical support throughout the team’s training and racing program for the season.

For a brand founded in 2015 with a clear focus on intelligent cycling solutions, this collaboration represents a major leap forward.

From Innovation to the World’s Biggest Races

Over the past decade, Magene has built a comprehensive ecosystem of smart cycling products — from GPS bike computers and smart trainers to power meters, sensors, and smart lights — designed for both indoor and outdoor riding.

Today, Magene products are used in over 100 countries and regions worldwide, and the partnership with XDS Astana Team confirms the brand’s growing recognition at the highest level of professional cycling.

For us at Magene Philippines, it’s exciting to see technology we distribute locally now supporting one of the most competitive teams in the WorldTour.

Voices from the Partnership

Sam Li, Vice President of Global Marketing at Magene, shared:

“The XDS Astana Team is a world-class team defined by determination and competitive spirit. We are honored to become an official partner of the team, providing multi-category products and technical support.

This partnership is a strong recognition of Magene’s technological capabilities and product performance. By working closely with a WorldTour team, we can continue refining our products through real professional racing scenarios and deliver smarter, more precise cycling solutions to riders worldwide.”

Proven Team, Proven Platform

Founded in 2006, XDS Astana Team is one of the 18 UCI WorldTour teams, with more than 400 professional victories, including overall wins in all three Grand Tours.

The team closed the 2025 season with:

  • 32 race wins
  • 72 podium finishes
  • A significant climb in the UCI WorldTeam rankings

Alexandr Vinokurov, General Manager of XDS Astana Team, commented:

“We are very pleased to welcome Magene as a new partner of XDS Astana Team. It is a young but fast-growing brand, ready to step onto the WorldTour stage and demonstrate its strong potential.

I believe this collaboration will be productive and truly successful, and we look forward to a great 2026 season together.”

Magene Technology on the WorldTour Stage

For the 2026 season, XDS Astana Team will integrate Magene’s core products across daily training and competition, including:

  • T500 Smart Trainer
  • L508 Smart Radar Tail Light
  • H613 Heart Rate Monitor
  • C606 Pro Smart GPS Bike Computer (launching soon)

By combining proprietary hardware with advanced data analytics, Magene will support training accuracy, race preparation, and performance monitoring at the highest level of the sport.

At the same time, real-world racing data from the WorldTour will feed directly back into product development — pushing improvements in accuracy, reliability, and intelligent training features that benefit riders everywhere.

A Proud Moment for Magene Philippines

For Magene, this partnership signals a new chapter in global recognition and technological evolution.

For us at Magene Philippines, it’s a proud moment to represent a brand that has earned its place on the WorldTour stage. It reinforces our commitment to bringing world-class smart cycling technology to Filipino riders — from everyday training to elite-level performance.

As Magene continues to grow globally, we’re excited to see what’s next — and we’re proud to be part of that journey here in the Philippines.
